The stay was great, recommend. Fairly clean and the staff was polite and kind. The location was brilliant for my stay, 400 metres from Escape. This hotel was located in a great area. I loved that the property was near to a railway station.

Good hotel with free wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a bar area. The staff even helped me find places with the best exchange rates on my first visit. Highly recommend it! I'm coming back for the new year.

The location is central, yet it is quiet. The staff is very friendly and could always help. Also the room service and the equipment is not to be criticized.
Unfortunately, on the last day the electricity was gone - no hot water and sockets did not work.

Our executive twin room was elegant, compact. It was close to Leith, marvellous and unbeatable location overall.

Good location, as you can get to the city centre quickly by tram or bus. Very nice staff. After only ice-cold water came out of the shower, we got an even bigger room on the day of the criticism, where the shower worked. After the checkout the suitcases could be deposited in the hotel. This was very helpful for us, as our flight did not leave until the evening.
The mattress was much too soft. The rooms are very small. With the 2. booked room in the basement it smelled unpleasantly.

Although the staff was not Scottish, they were very friendly and helpful throughout, the rooms were surprisingly large and the location quite good.

Staff was very friendly and helpful! 24 hours reception
Our room was in the basement. Double room. Unfortunately it didn't look like the pictures. Very tight.

The location was perfect. From the airport it was easy to reach by bus and on foot it was easy to get to the city centre and all the sights. Despite the central location, one has not noticed any traffic noise at all.
The room was very small and very bright, both to the staircase and to the upper floor. Which is why nightly home comings and goings have been very well heard.

Breakfast was free but crowded and staff had trouble keeping supplies going but was fine in the end - clean, pleasant staff, convenient for centre and good value. We got a parking ticket in front of the hotel though so need to park in long stay parking.

It's not the most fancy hotel I ever been, but it's cosy, warm and very clean. Don't expect too much and I think you might enjoy your stay. The breakfast was ok (coffee/tea and lots of pastry), but in my opinion it would be good not to have so much pastry and something more healthy! Moreover, the hotel is in a 10 min walking distance to the city centre and had the option of luggage storage while you visit the city.
I would say that the most dissapointing thing was the fact that the room was not ensuite! But, we did realize that we were the only ones using the bathroom in the hall. And it was such an modern, nice and clean bathroon that we didn't even bother.
